Gunung Belumut Recreational Forest is located 32 kilometres from Bandar Kluang through the Jalanraya Keluang-Mersing, 137 kilometres from Bandar Johor Bahru. The name ‘Gunung Belumut' is given because of the smooth and mossy mountain rocks.
For the journey to this mountain top, tourists need to go through timber roads using a four-wheel vehicle or walk along the tracks. At this foothill there is a medium-height waterfall where the water is cool and refreshing. It has become a tourist attraction especially in the weekends or holiday seasons.
