The roles and responsibilities of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) are as follows:

  1. Ensuring that all organizational needs (financial resources, human resources, and security protection) are sufficient.
  2. Leading digitalization initiatives at the Kluang Municipal Council through the use of data, analytics, and digital technology.
  3. Ensuring the agency's ICT Strategic Plan (PSP) aligns with the Public Sector ICT Strategic Plan (PSP), Risk Management, and Change Management Plan.
