The latest update highlights that several districts in Johor have been affected by disaster incidents. Below is a summary of the current situation:

  • Pontian: 4 evacuation centres, 37 families, 134 residents.
  • Kluang: 4 evacuation centres, 83 families, 328 residents.
  • Kota Tinggi: 13 evacuation centres, 345 families, 1,085 residents.
  • Kulai: 4 evacuation centres, 68 families, 239 residents.
  • Johor Bahru: 5 evacuation centres, family and resident count to be updated.

As of now, no fatalities have been reported (cumulative deaths: 0).

Temporary Evacuation Centres Have Opened

A total of 4 evacuation centres in the Kluang District have been opened to accommodate affected victims:

  1. PPS Sekolah Agama Kg Tengah 1
  2. PPS Dewan Serbaguna Kahang
  3. PPS SJK (C) Kahang
  4. PPS Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Jalan Haji Manan

Affected residents are advised to relocate immediately to the designated evacuation centres.
