OBJECTIVE OF OSC

i.To coordinate and accelerate land development application approval process in the Land Office and Local Authority which covers applications such as planning permission, building plan and other plans;
ii.To shorten the time period and simplify the processing method of applications such as planning permission, building plan and certification of land development application for projects under the Build and Sell Later (Bina Kemudian Jual - BKJ) concept, High Impact Project and Foreign Investment and also Government Projects within a period of four (4) months and under the Sell and Build Later (Jual Kemudian Bina - JKB) concept within a period of six (6) months; and
iii.To standardise procedures and process of applications for planning permission, building plan and land development application by considering the allocations under the National Land Code 1965 – "Kanun Tanah Negara 1965 (KTN 56)", Urban and Rural Planner Act 1976 (Act 172) and Drain, Street and Building Act (Act 133).

MAIN FUNCTION OF OSC

i. Receive, review, coordinate and monitor development proposal applications received by the OSC;
ii.Organise and manage the OSC Committee Meeting twice in a month;
iii.Acknowledging the result of development proposal application approval to the applicant;
iv.Conduct certification of land development application to the Land Office
v.Preparing OSC report via the OSC Online Portal before the 5th of each month.
